Active & Future Ministries
The outreach exists to serve the people of Waco in their spiritual, communal, and educational needs, but we’re still just getting started! Ministry is not the purview of a few select individuals but the responsibility of the whole community for the whole community. We’ve started a few ministries but are eager to get more people involved. Please consider joining a ministry or bringing your own ideas. Please email wacobyzantine@gmail.com or talk to one of our friendly greeters!
Trinity Guardians (Select Baseball)
Waco Byzantine directly serves and supports the greater Waco Christian community and the virtuous Christian development of the next generation, notably the Trinity Guardians u10 baseball team, by supporting the team and cooking some darn good Texas barbecue. Details to follow!
St. Philip the Deacon Men’s Team
Every month we do our best to serve our local community in the corporal works of mercy. This can be by supporting the Trinity Guardians, putting sweet equity into Church projects, or simply cleaning up the road. Please email wacobyzantine@gmail.com for details!

St. Romanos Cantor Team
The Cantor team leads the laity in our liturgies and services. We always need more assistance in guiding prayer and chant, and no experience is necessary to assist, but if you would like to explore learning on your own, please visit the MCI self-paced lessons. Let us know if you would like to learn how to cantor by emailing wacobyzantine@gmail.com
